my blinds are closed. i can only see through the bottom slivers. so at first i thought someone was taking a picture outside. it wasn’t a car cause i didn’t hear any engine. then i thought it must’ve just been my imagination. but then i heard the thunder. and i thought the garage was opening. but since it was 4:30am it wasn’t reallly plausible. then i realized it was lightning and thunder. and then it happened again. so i opened my blinds up and it happened again. and i don’t believe it’s raining. and again. i remember once learning that you can tell how far away the lightning is if you count how long until you hear the thunder. i wish the thunder came first. so i would know. cause i’m kind of tired and don’t want to just wait by my window to see the lightning. but i’ve never seen it before. i mean i can see it now but it’s really just a flash of my window in the corner of my right eye. and again. and again. i waited that time. my window isn’t really at a good angle to see it straight on but i did see a bit of it. and again.
